1. Health care system should do the rural people better justice. Saw a HIV positive patient with suspected Lichtheim's disease which is caused by B12 deficiency. Irreversible decreased sensation below knee. Megaloblastic anemia and positive Babinski's sign. I might be excited about seeing a case I've never seen before, but it hits me hard that there's still people out there in this country suffering from malnutrition.
2. Lotsa patients suffering from stroke and cardiac disease. Reminds me of my dangerously sedentery lifestyle.
3. Patient with stage 4 cervical CA gave me a big warm smile. She made my day. =)
4. I still don't understand. Please la, just because you're a doctor already, has thick make up and long brownish curly hair, it doesn't make you more superior than us normal human beings.
5. Love how the MO interact with patients. In different dialects and languages, some more can build up rapport so fast! An awesome doctor she is =)
6. I hope Dr. Doll-up-too-much-with-thick-make-up learns to be humble like the MO.
